Leslie Klipsch

Leslie Klipsch is a connector, author, fundraiser, and entrepreneur. She has held leadership roles in communications, development, and marketing at both international and community-led nonprofits, most recently serving as the vice president of marketing at the Putnam Museum and Science Center. Leslie co-founded of COWORKQC, a coworking space in downtown Davenport, helped launch a fair-trade brand with 100 female artisans living in rural Tanzania, has written hundreds of articles for various publications, and co-led a team that raised nearly a half million dollars for clean water solutions across the globe—an experience that she chronicled in her book, Mama Bear’s Manifesto: A Moms' Group Guide to Changing the World, published by Leafwood Publishers. For four years, Leslie was the co-host of the Mama Bear Dares Podcast, a New & Noteworthy podcast that challenged women to use their righteous anger and energy to spread beams of love, compassion, and justice everywhere they go. She lives in the Quad Cities with her beloved husband and three teenagers.
